With some of the brands we work with we like to create a short story through an interview. In these interviews we’re talking about the brand and how important music is for their locations. What is their view on the music and how do we determine the music?
For Goossens Wonen & Slapen we’re talking with Eva Moree, Visual Merchandiser and Stylist.
Can you tell us who you are and what kind of business you’re in?
For already 65 years Goossens is a well known family business in home and bedroom furniture. With 18 stores in the Benelux we’re nearby everyone. In our stores it’s important to get inspired all the time and with our certified experts you will always be advised in a help-full way. Experience is what we believe in the most.
How important is music for the stores ?
In our inspiration stores we stimulate the customer ‘ senses. Furniture shopping at Goossens is an experience that they have not yet been allowed to experience in other stores. The right music and audio experience reinforces that home feeling. After all, music is emotion and determines whether the customer feels comfortable.
How would you describe the style of music for Goossens?
Goossens stands for a contemporary living experience. Calming but with catchy sounds that appeal to a wide audience and generate the right emotion, but at the same time also translate Goossens brands values.
What is the thought behind this?
The right music strengthens our brand profile and in this way we respond to the needs of our customers. We put the customer first and we want our music to contributes to the optimal shopping experience.
What was the main reason to work with us?
It is nice to be able to create and operate the playlist ourself. This way we can always respond to the latest trends and load the Goossens brand with the right in-store music. Customers are always surprised with beautiful sounds. We can also easily implement advertising messages ourselves.
Can you name the most positive change since working with Soundtrack?
What we really trying to achieve is that we can respond quickly to music trends. We want to be the forerunner when it comes to home trends, and now we can do the same with music.
